HomeSAF Intradise suspension riding on the first mega 19.5 tyres are features of a new 15 horse side loader trailer built by TM Industries for Combined Horse Transport in Western Australia.
The unique unit sets new standards for horse transport. The SAF Intradise for HDTE coupled with the mega tyres offers a high degree of stability in a transport role that often sees top heavy trailers. The single tyres replace duals and both SAF and the chassis under the trailer have been widened, resulting in improved stability and handling while offering smoother ride.
TM Industries has built many horse trailers for clients and this unit for Combined Horse Transport is the result of that experience in specialised vehicles. The side loading doors are hydraulically operated, the system designed by TM to overcome the usual problems with spring assist which includes aging and breaking after continual use. The new doors do not have any hardware protruding into the interior or exterior of the body. It has been designed completely flush to comply with width regulations. TM says the suspension has worked well with the entire trailer package in what is a specialised transport role.
